Knowing You Are Blessed

This lesson is an introduction to the subject, and shows that God has blessed us, according to Ephesians 1:3.  In it you will find an explanation of the kind of blessings we can expect from the Lord, and you will get an introduction to some of the principles that will be covered in detail in the rest of the course.

1.  Why is God able to bless us?
2.  When does God bless us?
3.  In what 4 ways has God blessed us?

Section 2

1.  Does God provide things we don't need?
2.  Why has God given us spiritual blessings?
3.  Which realm do the blessings come from?
4.  Who did God make the world for?

Section 3

1.  How do you make contact with the heavenly realm?
2.  Write down three things that Jesus brought us through Calvary.
You will find them in the notes.
3.  Write down some ways you can bless the Lord back.

You have been blessed in four ways

1.  All of God's blessings are available to you

a.  God is the source of all blessing
b.  All blessings that are available are to be found in Him alone.

2.  The blessings are received in your spirit

a.  The blessings were deposited into you in spiritual essence when you were born again.
b.  You now have in your spirit, the resources needed to create the blessings of God in your life.

3.  The blessings come from the heavenly realm

a.  Since God lives in the heavenly realm, all blessings originate from that realm.
b.  When God gives He does so in the heavenly realm. You must then bring it down to earth.

4.  The blessings come in Christ

a.  All blessings are given in Christ alone, and He Himself is our blessing.
b.  Everything you can ever need is contained in Him.

God wants to provide

1.  Your needs

a.  Basic necessities of life - the Lord wants you to have the basic necessities.
b.  Physical Health - God wants you to walk in Divine Health.

2.  Your desires

a.  Temporal Things - God wants you to have good things in life
b.  Recognition and Acceptance - The Lord is not against you being famous or holding a position of recognition.
